Chrome plating tanks often process a wide variety of racked parts like bicycle frames, exhaust pipes, wheels, and many other types of products and parts. After plating, the excess rinse water continues to drip from the part racks and creates quite a mess.
By adding Nozzle Bar® Air Devices with a Maxumizer® Air Blower system in the final drain stage, our customer was able to blow-off almost all of the rinse water and return it to the process tanks.
The Result
Maxum Air Blow-off reduced water spots on the product surfaces, reduced the amount of water required for rinsing, and also allowed the customer to virtually eliminate the mess caused by dripping rinse water on their production floor.
